Movie Review: Brief Encounter

Title: Brief Encounter

Year: 1945

Director: David Lean

Starring: Celia Johnson, Trevor Howard

Oscars Nominated: Best Director (David Lean), Best Actress (Celia Johnson), Best Screenplay

What's It About: A married British woman and a doctor meet first at a train station, then fall in love but decide to part.

The Good:

- The two lead actors give unforgettable and emotional perforamances
- I really loved the music, it makes you feel the sad emotions that Celia Johnson's character is going through

The Bad:

- I was not a big fan of the almost constant narration

Score: 9/10
